  Apostate NT Canon

  as mentioned in july 15th 2013 watchtower "the apostasy started in the first century and flourished by the fourth century" or words to that effect.. as i was reading ff bruce's "the bible canon" ($14 kindle ver.

  on amazon) i was very surprised to read that there are no original nt documents from the first century, just copies of copies of copies of many documents from that period.

  apparently the 27 book nt canon was not set until about the fourth century by trinitarian church fathers.

  Thinking about meeting with the elders...might record, any tips for hiding a recorder?

  A medical question.

  i have been having pain in my left hip for around 4 years.

  got worse this winter.

  hurts at night, after walking and periods of inactivity.

  The idea isnt just to try and reach the elders i guess as much as it is for lurkers who listen and think "hm thats messed up". The way i see it, the more of these out there we find then the less credibl the JC and elders. Also people will see that it IS widescale and not just an isolated event.

  i see my wife being pulled into the org a little again, by some good people and kindness.

  she grew up a very happy jw, and to leave is very hard for her.

  Bible claims that Noah put all kinds of animals by twos on his ark....but where are the dinos? Kangaroos, howd they get home? Was the world one supercontinent in Noahs time? If so numbers are way off hence 2+2=5....meaning the desired outcome of the scriptures doesnt fit logically....thats just the first example i thought off the top of my head...

  Sounds good mate! I have to study up!!! Im gonna be respectful but hit em where it hirts if i can..

  But i have a question for all of you: If you were in my position, which is ideal as it gets, what would unbring up with the elders while trying to respect them as people youve grown up with, and would you see elders u know or request outside elders you are less familiar with?
